Rabin Mahato of the Rashtriya Swayamsevak Sangh (RSS) has been elected in Sarlahi-2. He got 42,512 votes, while Mahindra Raya Yadav of the NCP came second with 8,523 votes.
Saroj Kumar of the Nepali Congress got 7,039 votes, and Rajendra Mahato of the Rastriya Mukti Party got 5,992 votes.
