The Nepali Army on Tuesday morning defused a suspicious object found on the Rajpaida-Thalhitol road in Chandrapur-5 of the district. The suspicious object had spread panic among the people.
The suspicious object was found in a sack about 200 meters south of the Modern Primary School in Rajpaida. After that, the joint forces cordoned off the area overnight for security. The Nepali Army's bomb disposal team said that the suspicious object had been defused in the morning.
The Nepali Army's Narayan Dal Battalion said that the object was not a bomb. The battalion said that it has deployed bomb disposal teams in every constituency and has also deployed a team for highway security. The Army has stated that it has the capacity to reach any place within 10 to 30 minutes if a suspicious object is found.
