A worker working in an industry in Ramgadhawa, Birgunj-24 has died. On Sunday evening at around 6:30 pm, 36-year-old Birendra Pandit of Parsagarhi Municipality-4, working in an SPM printer industry, died after being crushed by a machine in the industry, Parsa Police Spokesperson DSP Hari Bahadur Basnet has informed.
Other workers in the industry have stopped work and are protesting, demanding compensation for the victim's family and an investigation into the incident.
