In view of the upcoming elections, the Nepali Army has started patrolling in armored vehicles from Saturday evening to maintain peace and security in Rautahat.
Earlier, a joint team including the Nepali Army, Nepal Police, and Armed Police Force had been patrolling various parts of the district. To further help in this, the army has started patrolling in all four constituencies with armored vehicles.
With the aim of conducting the elections in a free, fair, and peaceful environment, the Nepali Army's Shree Narayan Dal Battalion deployed in Rautahat has said that it has conducted patrols with armored vehicles to further strengthen the security system.
