The District Administration Office issued a notice on Wednesday, warning that those violating the ban will be taken action according to the prevailing law.
In the notice issued by Chief District Officer Tubaraj Pokharel, the sale, distribution and consumption of alcoholic beverages has been banned until the final results of the election are announced.
It is stated that the notice has been issued in accordance with the Election Security (Management) Directive, 2078 BS, to conduct the election in a free, fair, impartial, fearless and peaceful environment.
