Those who resigned from the party include central executive member Rani Kumari Paswan and central members Rameshwar Yadav, Jageshwar Yadav and district committee member Harikishore Paswan. All of them are residents of Mirchaiya under Siraha constituency number 4.
In their resignation letter to party president Raut, they have accused him of losing ideas and principles from the party, of casteism prevailing in the party, and of increasing dominance and influence of non-political individuals.
