Comprehensive health check-ups and counseling are provided in the camp organized keeping in mind the health condition of the dependents at the ashram.
A free health camp organized by Nepal Innovative Society Parsa was held at Manav Sewa Ashram, Birgunj on Friday.
The organizers have stated that a comprehensive health check-up and necessary counseling were provided in the camp organized keeping in mind the health condition of the dependents in the ashram.
Doctors Dr. Neeraj Kumar Singh, Dr. Manoj Upadhyay and Dr. Preeti Yadav, Narayani Hospital Nursing Chief Ahema Thapa and others provided health services in the camp. The medical team conducted a detailed health check-up of the dependents in the ashram and provided necessary counseling.
During the camp, various medicines were distributed free of cost. Mental health medicines, vitamins, sanitary pads and other materials were also distributed, according to the organizing organization's president Kamal Chaugai.
During the health check-up, some participants had hair loss, lumps in the breasts, wounds in the vagina, urine leakage and uterine problems, according to the medical team. Necessary counseling and suggestions regarding treatment procedures were also given to solve these problems.
