Two members of the same family (mother and son) were murdered on Wednesday morning in Rahriya Diha, Parwanipur Rural Municipality-1, Bara.
Sumitra Devi Mahato Mandal, 46, and Rameshwor Mahato Mandal, 27, were killed with sharp weapons. The deceased are mother and son.
Sumitra's husband Jagarup Mahato Mandal, her daughter Reena Kumari Gambhir, 20, and daughter-in-law Manita are seriously injured. They are being treated at LS Neuro Hospital in Parwanipur.
