An unlicensed loaded gun and 13 rounds of ammunition used in the same gun were recovered from Khawas's possession.
A person has been arrested with illegal weapons from Koilabhar village in Parsagarhi Municipality-1.
At around 10 pm on Thursday night, a police team deployed from the temporary police post Manwa found 38-year-old Jayanarayan Khawas drunk and abusing locals.
During the search, the police recovered an unlicensed loaded gun and 13 rounds of ammunition from Khawas.
He was taken into custody along with the seized weapons and ammunition and further investigation is underway, informed DSP Hari Bahadur Basnet, spokesperson of Parsa Police.
