Janata Samajwadi Party (JSP) Nepal Chairman Upendra Yadav has reached the house of rival candidate Amar Kant Chaudhary, who is grieving the death of his father, and expressed his condolences. On Wednesday, on the 12th death anniversary, Yadav reached his house in Pato, Dakneshwari Municipality-5, in the district, and expressed his sorrow over the death of former MP Chandra Kant Chaudhary.

Chandrakant, an executive member of the Rastriya Mukti Party, Nepal and a former Minister of State, passed away on Poush 10. He had become the Minister of State for Water Resources, Energy and Irrigation after being elected from Saptari-3 by the then Rastriya Janata Party (RJP) Nepal in 2074 BS.

Amarkant, the son of former MP Chandrakant, who resides in Kiriya, has also registered his candidacy from the Rastriya Swatantra Party for the House of Representatives in the upcoming election to be held on Falgun 21. JSP, Nepal Chairman Yadav has also filed his candidacy from the same constituency.
