Former Chief Minister of Madhesh Province, Satish Kumar Singh, has resigned from the post of Provincial Assembly member.
Former Chief Minister Singh submitted his resignation letter to the Speaker of the Provincial Assembly, Ram Ashish Yadav, at the Madhesh Provincial Assembly Office in Janakpurdham.
In the resignation letter submitted to the Provincial Assembly Secretariat, he stated that he resigned from the post of Provincial Assembly member in accordance with Article 180 (a) of the Constitution of Nepal 2072 BS and Rule 184 (1) of the Provincial Assembly Procedure Rules 2075 BS.
Singh, who was elected from Saptari Provincial Assembly Constituency No. 2 (a) from the Janmat Party, has resigned with effect from today.
