An Indian died after a motorcycle bearing BR 30 AE 5138 fell off the Kachuawa bridge on the Durga Bhagwati-4 Gaur Gangapipara road section, informed DSP Bishnu Pradeep Basyal of the District Police.
One person died after a motorcycle fell from the Kachhuawa Bridge in Durga Bhagwati Rural Municipality of Rautahat on Saturday evening. Another was seriously injured. Both the deceased and the injured are Indian citizens. The name of the deceased has not been released.

The police have not yet determined the cause of the accident. Although it is suspected that the accident occurred due to speeding, the police said that an investigation is underway into the incident. The police have also recovered a liquor called Golden OK from a bag hanging from the motorcycle’s leg guard.
The police suspect that the accident occurred due to drunk driving. The seriously injured person was sent to Birgunj for further treatment after treatment at the Provincial Hospital in Gaur, the district police said.
