Parsa Police have seized a large quantity of narcotic marijuana from Thori Rural Municipality.
Based on a special tip-off, a police team deployed from the Area Police Office, Thori, searched a two-story wooden house belonging to 42-year-old Chhiring Dong, located on the unpaved road leading west from the Hulaki road section of Brahmanagar, Thori Rural Municipality-3, around 10 pm on Tuesday. They found 950 kg of marijuana hidden in a plastic bag in the upper room of the house.
About 15 meters north of the house, 10 packets of marijuana hidden in sugarcane leaves were also found in a barren field, weighing 157 kg.
Parsa Police Spokesperson DSP Raju Karki informed that a search is underway for Chhiring Dong, the owner of the house where the marijuana was found.
