Armed Police Force Nepal Parsa conducted a free eye camp in Chhapakaiya, Birgunj-1 on Thursday to mark the 25th Armed Police Force Day 2082.
The camp was organized by the Armed Police Force Nepal No. 13 Battalion Head Quarter, Parsa, in collaboration with the Tilganga Eye Institute, Birgunj Community Eye Hospital and Laxmi Sunrise Bank, Birgunj, under the ‘Armed Police Program with Border Residents’ on the premises of the local Babita Parajuli Basic School.
DSP Bishwaraj Yonjan, Information Officer of the Armed Police Force, Parsa, informed that 78 local residents were treated along with eye tests in the camp. He said that the Armed Police Force has been conducting the ‘Armed Police Program with Border Residents’ since this year to reduce the problems and suffering of the border residents.
