Parsa police have arrested two people with 22 kg of hashish stored in gallon containers.
The arrested are Raiyas Ali, 20, of Birgunj Metropolitan City 15 Murli and Munilal Patel, 55, of Parsa Pokhariya Municipality 8 Jagatpur . The police arrested them on Thursday morning at 6 am from the Pokhariya-Birgunj road section east of Gardaul Chowk, Bindawasini Rural Municipality 2, based on a special information.
A team deployed from the Area Police Office Pokhariya and Temporary Police Post Bahuarwabhatta during an investigation found hashish from a gallon kept in a black bag carried by both of them. The hashish was found inside the gallon that was kept in the mouth with ghee.
10 kg 600 grams of hashish and 1 thousand 550 were recovered from the gallon carried by Raiyas. 11 kg 400 grams of hashish and 2 thousand 900 rupees in cash were also recovered from the gallon carried by Munilal. The Parsa Police has taken both of them under control and is conducting further investigation. Spokesperson DSP Raju Karki gave the information.
