A young man was injured in a knife attack in a fight over an old dispute in Phulbari Tole, Birgunj-16 on Tuesday evening. The incident took place at around 6:30 pm.

Suraj Mahato, 18, of Birgunj-16 Nagwa was beaten and stabbed due to an old argument. Police have admitted Mahato to Narayani Hospital for treatment. He has a 1-inch deep wound in his stomach. He is out of danger.

20-year-old Soni Srivastava, his brother Monu Srivastava, 18, and 22-year-old Vicky Patel, who were involved in the incident, are absconding. Parsa Police Spokesperson DSP Raju Karki informed that a search is underway for them.
