Life in Birgunj is returning to normal this morning after an all-party meeting reached an agreement regarding the protests that have been taking place for the past few days.
A curfew was imposed here for two consecutive days due to protests. Although the markets here have been reopening sporadically since Tuesday evening, life has returned to normal from today. Schools, markets, industries and factories here have also fully resumed operations.
Parsa Chief District Officer Bhola Dahal said that life in Birgunj is returning to normal. 'Life here is returning to normal after reaching an agreement in the all-party and all-party meeting,' he said.
