The head of Ram Ishwar Mahato, a forest ranger working at the Sagarnath Forest Development Project in Writerkhor, Ishwarpur Municipality-2, Sarlahi, was found in a nearby bush in a gruesome murder case.
According to the District Police Office, Sarlahi, Mahato's head was found thrown into a bush 100 meters south of the incident site at around 1:45 pm on Sunday during a search operation.
Earlier, the headless body was found on Saturday. Police said that after the incident report and initial investigation, the body was sent to the Provincial Hospital, Malangwa, for a post-mortem.
Further investigation into the incident is underway and a suspect has been taken into custody, according to the police.
