Manav Sewa Ashram Birgunj branch celebrated its eighth anniversary in Birgunj on Saturday.
The program, hosted by Madhesh Province Minister for Land Management, Agriculture and Cooperatives Shyam Patel, made public the activities, donor details and income and expenditure details of the ashram within a year. Addressing the program, chief guest Minister Patel praised the contribution of the ashram volunteers and praised their honesty, service spirit and contribution.
Parsa Chief District Officer Bhola Dahal, founding patron of Manav Sewa Ashram Birgunj branch and Vice Chancellor of Madhesh University Professor Dr. Deepak Shakya, Madhesh Province President of the Federation of Nepali Journalists Shyam Banjara and others shared their views on the importance of human service, social responsibility and cooperation.
The program was facilitated by Devesh Gupta, founder of Manav Sewa Ashram Birgunj, and the welcome speech was delivered by social worker Prakash Tharu.
