The Metropolitan City has extended the holiday by three more days, after suspending teaching in community and institutional schools from Poush 7 to 14.
The Metropolitan City Office has announced in a notice on Tuesday that schools will be closed from Wednesday to Friday.
The notice issued by the Chief of the Educational Administration Division, Anand Lamichhane, also states that Montessori and coaching classes have been given holidays. According to the notice, schools will operate regularly only from Poush 20. The Metropolitan City has stated that the current holidays will be deducted from the annual holidays.
