Traffic has been disrupted since Tuesday morning after a bullet tanker carrying gas overturned on the road near the second junction of the East-West Highway in Chandrapur Municipality-4, Rautahat.
The truck driver was injured in the accident. Police have said that it will take another 4/5 hours to clear the highway blockage.
The LP gas loaded bullet truck, UP 17 AP 2114, coming east from India via the Birgunj border, crashed in the middle of the road after the string jammed, informed Traffic Police Inspector Rajendra Thapa Magar.
Pawan Yadav, 37, of Jayanagar police station in Kador district, India, was injured in the accident.
