Eighteen centers, including one polling station, have been added to Rautahat for the upcoming House of Representatives elections.

According to the District Election Office, the centers and venues have been added to make the upcoming election on Falgun 21 more convenient for voters compared to the 2079 House of Representatives election. In the 2079 House of Representatives election, there were 523 polling centers in the district, and 18 more have been added this year, bringing the total to 541, informed District Election Office Rautahat Chief Chhotelal Das.

In the 2079 House of Representatives election, there were 276 polling centers, and one more has been added this year, bringing the total to 277. A new polling center has been added in Garuda Municipality-6.

21,156 voters have been added in the district. According to District Election Office Chief Das, there are currently 436,611 voters in Rautahat. With the addition of voters, polling centers and venues have also been added, informed Office Chief Das.

There were 415,455 voters in the 2079 House of Representatives election. The district, which has two rural municipalities and 16 municipalities, has four constituencies for the House of Representatives, consisting of 157 wards. 

In the 2079 election, Madhav Kumar Nepal was elected from Constituency No. 1 on behalf of the then CPN-S, Swatantra Kiran Sah from Constituency No. 2, AJP Chairman Prabhu Sah from Constituency No. 3, and Dev Prasad Timalsina from Constituency No. 4 on behalf of the Nepali Congress. Out of 415,455  voters, 282,430  voters cast their votes in that election.
