Three tractors used for illegal excavation work in Khando River, Deuri Bharuwa, Rajbiraj Municipality-13, Saptari, have been seized.

A police team deployed from the District Police Office on Saturday evening seized tractors bearing the numbers Ko 2 Ta 1883, Sa 1 Ta 7786 and Pra 2-01-001 Ta 0588.

SP Gautam Kumar KC said that the tractors used for illegal excavation work in the river were seized. 'We have seized the tractors from the river,' he said. According to him, preparations are underway to hand over all three seized tractors to the municipality for necessary action. 

A local businessman has placed a loader (soil cutting and loading machine) 150 meters south of the Khando bridge on the Rajbiraj-Hanumannagar road section and is illegally excavating more than 200 trolleys of river-based materials daily with 8/10 tractors, 'Kantipur' had published news.
