Blankets have been handed over to the local administration to distribute relief to the underprivileged, with the facilitation of the Birgunj Chamber of Commerce and Industry.

With the sudden increase in cold, the cold wave affecting the lives of the people in Birgunj and the surrounding areas, a team including the president of the association, Hari Prasad Gautam, handed over blankets to the Chief District Officer, Bhola Dahal, on Wednesday. 

With the aim of providing even a little relief to the poor and disadvantaged due to the adverse weather, local industrialists and social organizations, with the facilitation of the association, handed over 375 blankets to the Chief District Officer, Dahal.  

With the activation of the association and the Birgunj-based Samarpan Sewa Sanstha, Maruti Paper Chemical Ind Pvt. Ltd., Sushil Vanaspati Pvt. Ltd., as well as Birgunj Round Table-3, provided blankets that would be useful during the winter to the poor and disadvantaged living in Parsa-Bara.
