DSP Bishwaraj Yonjan, Information Officer of the Armed Police Force, Parsa, informed that the packages of marijuana were taken under control, completed the necessary procedures and handed over to the Area Police Office, Pokhariya.
The Armed Police Force has seized 120 kilograms of narcotic marijuana from the banks of the Dhutaha River in Prasaunibhatha village of Bindawasini Rural Municipality-5, Parsa.
Seeing the team deployed from the Armed Police Force BOP Prasaunibhatha on Wednesday, some people had abandoned eight plastic bags they were carrying from Nepal to India and fled. When the bags were opened, the narcotic marijuana was found in them.
The marijuana bags were taken under control and after completing the necessary procedures, were handed over to the Area Police Office, Pokhariya, informed DSP Bishwaraj Yonjan, Information Officer of the Armed Police Force, Parsa.
