Janata Samajwadi Party, Nepal Chairman and former Deputy Prime Minister Upendra Yadav has said that the country will not find a way out if it goes to the polls without amending the constitution.

Addressing a program of the Dotim Confederation held at Golbazar in Siraha on Monday, Chairman Yadav said this.

The current constitution was forcibly issued to the people of his own country by firing bullets, it did not include all the people of the country and that is why the country has been unstable, he said. 'When this constitution was issued, millions of Madhesi people were blacking out on the streets, but the constitution was issued by firing bullets,' he said, 'Such a constitution is not acceptable to the people.'

Chairman Yadav said that the constitution should not only be amended and modified, but also rewritten based on the needs. However, he argued that if the country goes to the elections in the current situation without addressing the constitution, there will be no way out for the country. 'We will go to the elections,' he said, 'but, the problems of the country remain like this, the Congress and the Communists keep looting.'

He said that all communities should be addressed in the constitution based on population. 'Whether in the political or administrative sector, in service or access to opportunities, inequality should be ended,' Yadav said, 'The share of each sector should be equal to the population.'
