Madhesh Province Chief Minister Krishna Prasad Yadav is set to take a vote of confidence on Wednesday.

The ruling seven-party alliance meeting held today decided to take a vote of confidence, informed JSP Chief Whip Ram Ashish Yadav.

Yadav, who was appointed Chief Minister by the Nepali Congress on Friday, has formed the cabinet today.

Three ministers also took oath immediately after Chief Minister Yadav took oath. Provincial Chief Surendra Lav Karna administered the oath of office to Jangilal Rai Yadav of the Nepali Congress and Kanish Patel of the CPN-UML as ministers without portfolios, while Mahesh Prasad Yadav of the Janmat Party parliamentary party was administered the oath of office as finance minister. 

The government is preparing to finalize the remaining ministries after receiving the vote of confidence.
