A meeting of seven parties to form a new government in Madhesh Province has begun.

LOSAP MP Upendra Mahato informed that leaders and MPs of seven parties were present in the meeting that began at the Provincial Assembly Secretariat.

According to him, the new government will be decided from this meeting.  In Madhesh, the Congress and LOSAP have claimed the post of Chief Minister for the new government. 

Provincial Chief Surendra Labh has set a deadline of 5 pm on Friday to submit the claim for the government as per Article 168 (2) of the Constitution. 

After the Supreme Court's order, Chief Minister Saroj Kumar Yadav (Mahottari) resigned in the Provincial Assembly meeting on Wednesday, after seeing that he would not get a vote of confidence.
