Chief Minister Yadav, who was late in coming to the Provincial Assembly meeting, is at his official residence in Janakpur.
The meeting was delayed as Chief Minister Saroj Kumar Yadav did not arrive at the Provincial Assembly about two and a half hours after the time set by the Provincial Assembly Secretariat for the vote of confidence.
According to LSP MP Upendra Mahato, the meeting was delayed because Chief Minister Yadav, who was to present the vote of confidence, had not yet arrived at the provincial assembly. Chief Minister Yadav is currently at his official residence in Janakpur.
The meeting of the Business Advisory Committee held before the provincial assembly meeting has already set the agenda for taking the vote of confidence. Everyone is waiting for Chief Minister Yadav as he has not reached the provincial assembly.
Although Chief Minister Yadav was asked to take the vote of confidence within 24 hours in the order issued by the Supreme Court, he had written a letter to the provincial assembly secretariat to call the provincial assembly meeting for the vote of confidence at 2 pm on Wednesday as he had received the letter only at 3 pm on Tuesday. However, the provincial assembly secretariat had already set the time for the provincial assembly meeting for the vote of confidence at 8:30 am on Wednesday.
