The next meeting of the Provincial Assembly has resumed after Chief Minister Saroj Kumar Yadav, who was absent from the Provincial Assembly meeting held on Wednesday morning as per the agenda for taking a vote of confidence, was present.
Deputy Speaker Babita Raut Iser, who is conducting the meeting, has allowed Chief Minister Yadav to submit a motion to seek a vote of confidence. Chief Minister Yadav has urged the parties to give a vote of confidence.
While Chief Minister Yadav is seeking a vote of confidence, seven opposition parties have not attended the meeting of the Provincial Assembly. The opposition bench is completely empty. Only UML MPs are present in the meeting. Kanchan Bichha, who became a minister from the RPP, and Bimala Ansari Turunnam, who became a minister from the Nepal Federal Socialist Party, are also present in the meeting.
Earlier, the meeting of the Provincial Assembly held on Wednesday morning was adjourned due to the absence of Chief Minister Yadav.
