The Birgunj Customs Office has collected Rs 22.9 billion in revenue from the import of five types of petroleum products and Rs 10.1 billion from transport vehicles and their spare parts in the first four months of the current fiscal year.

It has collected revenue of Rs 3.7 billion from the import of electrical machinery, equipment and their spare parts. Goods worth Rs 284.89 billion have been imported from Birgunj in the four months of the current fiscal year. The office has stated that it has collected revenue of Rs 75.59 billion in the current fiscal year.
