Police on Thursday arrested an Indian national who was smuggling cocaine from India to Nepal.
Deputy Superintendent of Police Vijayraj Pandit, spokesperson of the District Police Office, said that 21 grams and 650 milligrams of cocaine were arrested from Khekhariya, Bishrampur Rural Municipality-1, on the border.
He said that 35-year-old Lalbabu Sah of Nayaktole village, East Champaran Bihar, India was arrested with a motorcycle with Indian registration number BR 05 AV 3532. Further investigation is underway, he said.
