Both were arrested two weeks ago on charges of murdering local Shankar Sah in a land dispute. Shankar's family alleges that they killed each other during the dispute. As the court hearing began, the victim's family staged a sit-in at the main gate outside the court demanding justice.
The order was issued against both in the evening. According to the Criminal Procedure Code, they cannot be declared innocent immediately, informed the court's Deputy Secretary Keshar Nath Aryal. Shankar died of beating during a land dispute on Asoj 26.
