Leaders of six parties, including the Nepali Congress, have reached the office of the Madhesh Province Chief. Provincial Assembly members and representatives of the six parties have arrived after Province Chief Sumitra Bhandari did not call for the formation of a new government.

 

Congress Parliamentary Party leader Krishna Prasad Yadav, acting Chief Minister Jitendra Prasad Sonar (Sonal), CPN-Maoist Center deputy leader Yubaraj Bhattarai, Janata Samajwadi Party (JSP) Nepal Chief Whip Ram Ashish Yadav, CPN-Unified Samajwadi Party Chief Whip Kanish Patel and Citizens Liberation Party MP Urmila Devi Singh have reached there . They have reached the provincial chief to request the provincial chief to call for the formation of a new government as per Article 168, Clause 2 of the Constitution .

Sonal had resigned from the Madhesh Provincial Assembly on Saturday. After that, Provincial Chief Bhandari consulted with all parties and constitutional experts throughout the day today . However, she has not yet called for the formation of a new government .
