The Madhesh Provincial Assembly has been adjourned for 10 minutes. The ruling party walked out of the Madhesh Provincial Assembly, objecting to the Speaker allowing CPN-Maoist MP Rahbar Ansari to speak after skipping the agenda.

The government-backed parties had demanded that Speaker Ramchandra Mandal resume the assembly after 30 minutes. However, after the Speaker said that the Madhesh Province Assembly would proceed as per the rules and regulations, the government side questioned under which rules Rahbar Ansari was allowed to speak. CPN-Maoist Center parliamentary party leader Bharat Prasad Sah has expressed special objection to this.

Speculation has started that the government led by Madhesh Province Chief Minister Jitendra Sonar (Sonal) will not get a vote of confidence if Rahbar Ansari does not vote.
