Singh and Sah said they were absent because they chose the Janaswaraj Party formed after the Janmat, while Ansari and Bichha said they were unorganized to remain neutral as per the party's decision. Sonal is taking a vote of confidence in the Madhesh Province Assembly today. Nepali Congress and CPN-UML are preparing to vote against the government. Sonal will be voted for by 18 members of the Janata Samajwadi Party, 11 members of the Janmat Party, nine members of the CPN-Maoist (Center), eight members of the LSP, seven members of the Unified Socialist Party, and one member of the Civil Liberties Union. Sonal was appointed Chief Minister on Asoj 29 with the support of 56 members of the five parties.
