Police have taken three protesting health workers into custody in Dhanusha. They were taken into custody from Pidari Chowk along the Janakpur-Dhalkebar road section on Tuesday evening.

Dhanusha DSP Ganesh Bahadur Bam informed that three people were taken into custody to clear the road jam. According to him, the police also fired two rounds of tear gas to disperse the crowd. 

The road jam has been cleared. He said that some health workers are still protesting on the side of the road. The health workers had been protesting by blocking the road since morning. 

After the road jam in the evening, the police tried to disperse the crowd by using force.
