In the wake of the situation that arose after the Gen-G movement, the police arrested Panilal Das of Chandrapur-6 Thokar Tole, a fugitive inmate of a drug case, from the custody of the Area Police Office Chandranigahapur on Friday. Umesh Rana Magar, 28, of Chandrapur-1, a fugitive inmate of a drug case, who had escaped from the Gaur prison, was also arrested, informed Police Inspector Rudra Kandel of the District Police Office Gaur. According to Kandel, Rampukar Mahato Koiri of Katahariya-1 has been arrested on charges of forging court decisions and letters in a land-related case and illegally registering them in his name. The police have arrested Surendra Sah of Gaur-8, who is working as an agent at Shreedhan Laxmi Savings and Loan Cooperative Society Limited Gaur, on charges of fraud and criminal breach of trust, and have started further investigation. Sah had been tricking the village's Sojha into trusting him by opening a 1-year and 78-month account and depositing money into it. Kandel said that Sah was arrested after the cooperative was closed and the person concerned absconded.
