Rautahat police arrested 60-year-old Dilmaya BK of Myagdi with a large quantity of narcotics on Monday evening.
A team deployed from the police post Bamanhar near Yamunamai Rural Municipality-5 Bamanhar on Monday arrested her with drugs during a check on the Gaur-Chandranigahpur section.
According to the District Police Office, Gaur, BK of Phulchaur, Beni Municipality-9, Myagdi District, was arrested with drugs while stopping and checking a passenger bus (Na 5 Kha 5063) heading from Gaur to Chapur.
A total of 1,489 pieces of narcotic injections, including 491 pieces of diazepam, 498 pieces of phenargon, 400 pieces of nufin, and 100 pieces of buprenorphine, were recovered from her, informed DSP Raju Karki of the District Police. DSP Karki said that the subject of investigation is why and how the arrested woman came to Rautahat from Myagdi to purchase drugs. The police said that an investigation is underway into the woman who was arrested with drugs.
