A girl has died after drowning in a gravel pit in Tena Tole, Dhangadhimai Municipality-8, Siraha. The 13-year-old daughter of local Dinesh Yadav, Aakriti Kumari Yadav, has died.
According to the police, at 3 pm on Sunday, locals saw him drowning in a ditch dug in Shiva Mahato's field, 500 meters away from the settlement. After that, his family immediately took him to the nearby RK Medicity.
However, the doctors there declared him dead during treatment, according to the District Police Office, Siraha. District Police Spokesperson Ramesh Bahadur Pal said that further investigation into the incident is underway.
