A young man has died after getting electrocuted while installing a flashing light at home. The deceased has been identified as 17-year-old Piyush Kumar Sah of Chhapakaiya Tole, Birgunj Metropolitan City-1.

The incident occurred on Saturday evening while Hari Bahadur Basnet, information officer of Parsa Police, was lighting up the Tihar lights on the roof of his one-story house.

Police have stated that Sah, who was seriously injured after being electrocuted by a wiring, died on the way to Narayani Hospital.
