Security personnel have returned to the police office in Chandrapur, Rautahat after a month. The police officers, who were displaced after the office was vandalized, arsonized, and looted during the Genji protests, returned to the office and resumed work on Saturday after the reconstruction of the building was completed.
The office was reconstructed and formally handed over with the active support of local businessmen, social workers, media workers and youth.

Local businessmen Hark Lama and Rupesh Jaiswal had collaborated in the reconstruction of the building. Media workers and local youth were also involved in the construction.
Jaiswal, who was active in the reconstruction of the building, disclosed the details of the expenses and said that about 400,000 rupees in kind, including 728,000 rupees in cash, had been received.
