During the Gen-G movement, a young man who escaped from the custody of police circle Thankot, Kathmandu was arrested while stealing a Scorpio from Saptari.

Police have arrested 21-year-old Aman Yadav from Bishnupur municipality-3 in Sirha.

He escaped from police custody on August 24. Yadav, who was arrested in a drug (brown sugar) transaction case, was being searched after he escaped from custody. At the same time, he was arrested while stealing a Scorpio from Virendra Bazar, Rupani rural municipality-6 in the district last Monday.

Local Vinay Bhagat's house was parked in front of the house by breaking the window of the Scorpio No. S1 Ch 713, he opened it to 'start' the Scorpio. However, when the Scorpio's battery was not charged and there was a problem in 'starting', the locals took Yadav and his brother Suman and handed them over to the police.

DSP Dambar Bahadur Puri, the information officer of the district police office, said that the police circle has been sent to Thankot for necessary action against the arrested Yadav.
