The tension in the appointment of the Chief Minister in Madhesh due to the claims of two parties

Even though the time to submit a claim for the appointment of a new Chief Minister in Madhesh province has not been reached, tension has increased in the provincial chief office.

Due to claims from two sides, tension has increased in the provincial head office .

On Wednesday morning, Democratic Samajwadi Party (LOSPA) Nepal's provincial assembly member Jitendra Prasad Sonar (Sonal) submitted a claim for the formation of a new government. With the support of 57 MPs from 6 parties, his claim was presented to provincial head Sumitra Bhandari.

But the situation became complicated after Satish Kumar Singh and Tribhuvan Sah of Janmat, who were counted in support of Sonal, chose Jan Swaraj Party and identified themselves in the election office.

Similarly, Congress has submitted a claim for government formation under the leadership of Krishna Prasad Yadav with the support of 58 MPs of UML and Janmat.

Currently, there are a large number of leaders and workers in the premises of the provincial head office and the security arrangements have been made tight.

After Chief Minister Satish Kumar Singh resigned from the post before taking the vote of confidence on Tuesday, state chief Sumitra Subedi called for the formation of a new government by Bhandari.
