Madhesh Pradesh Chief Minister Satish Kumar Singh has decided to remain neutral in the vote of confidence to be taken in the Madhesh Pradesh Assembly today. The main opposition Janata Samajwadi Party (JSP) Nepal, CPN United Socialist Party and CPN Maoist Center have decided to remain neutral.

All the three parties said that the decision was taken at the party meeting at the last moment today. On Monday, the Democratic Socialist Party (LOSP) Nepal has decided not to give a vote of confidence to the Chief Minister by withdrawing its support. 

Already the three main parties UML, Congress and Janmat have withdrawn their support from the Singh-led government . CPN-UML, Nepali Congress and Janmat Party have agreed to form a government under the leadership of Congress.
