30 kg of ganja has been recovered from Mahottari and 5 people have been arrested.
According to the police, 5 persons were arrested with 10 kg of marijuana hidden in the bush from Panchadhura temple area located in Bardiwas-4 and 20 kg of ganja from Manrashiswa-2 Bholhi.
23-year-old Dennis Ghising of Sarlahi Hariwan-4, 29-year-old Raj Bulan, 26-year-old Dhiran Yadav of Janakpur Sub-Metropolitan City-2, 24-year-old Umesh Yadav from Panchadhura Deputy Superintendent of Police Shailendra Kumar Bhatt informed.
Similarly, Mahottari Sonma-1 Bhatt said that the 31-year-old Rambharos Yadav was also taken into custody and the investigation was started.
The police have filed a case against them and extended the deadline from the District Court Mahottari.
