Youth Netra Bahadur Thapa of Thori rural municipality-2 Ichchanagar, who was injured in the Gen-G movement, was honored on Friday.
On the occasion of the 4th Thori Gold Cup-2082 event held in memory of the late Ram Bahadur Shrestha, Thapa was honored by Parsagadhi Municipality Mayor Gokarna Pathak and Thori Rural Municipality Chairman Lal Bahadur Shrestha by presenting a dosalla and certificate. Speaking at the program, Thori Rural Municipality Chairman Shrestha said that the courage of Thapa, who sacrificed his life in the struggle for justice, equality and transformation, was commendable. Parsagarhi Mayor Pathak said that Thapa's self-confidence has increased the pride of the district residents.
He also expressed the hope that the honor given to Thapa will awaken the spirit of equality and transformation in the young generation across the country.
