A large quantity of narcotic ganja has been recovered from Siraha. The armed police seized 2 quintals of marijuana from the bank of Balan river located in Bhagwan Rural Municipality-2.
Naresh Bhandari, SP of Siraha, said that a team of the armed forces went to the Balan River on the basis of a secret information that there was ganja on the banks of the river and recovered 219 kg and 400 grams of ganja in 9 sacks at 3 o'clock in the morning.
Armed forces have prepared to hand over the ganja to District Police Office, Siraha for necessary investigation and action. The police said that they are working to identify the person or group involved in this.
