After a long shortage, the rabies vaccine has arrived at Narayani Hospital in Birganj. Dr. Udayanarayan Singh, spokesperson of the hospital, said that after waiting for about three months, the anti-rabies vaccine came to the hospital.

He said that the 400 vials of vaccine sent by the Federal Health Department have reached the hospital through the Provincial Health Department. He said that there are three doses in one vial and that is enough to give a dose of vaccine to one person. "One vial contains three doses of vaccine," he said, "so at least 400 people will get vaccine services from the hospital."

Every day, 10 to 15 people who have been bitten by dogs, cats, etc., come to the hospital looking for vaccines. At this ratio, the currently available vaccine will hardly meet the demand for one to one and a half months. Then there will be a shortage of vaccines again.

Sadar Hospital Narayani Hospital near here was facing a big problem due to lack of anti-rabies vaccine.
