Dalit houses were ransacked and looted in front of the police in Siraha. The houses of five families belonging to the Dalit community of Kalyanpur municipality-8 Arang village were vandalized and looted on Friday afternoon.

Rajkumar Paswan, Raslal Paswan, Ashok Paswan, Binde Paswan and Sovit Paswan, who were living on the public land on the north side of the large pond in Arang, were abused and attacked by the locals at their house.

The victim Ashok Paswan said that a group of around 25/30 people including Prabhas Singh, Nitesh Singh, Shailendra Singh, Rajkumar Singh, Mustafa Rain, belonging to the Rajput community abused the Dalit family and ransacked and looted their house.

According to Ashok, they completely destroyed the thatched house of the five people and also destroyed the plants near the house. Similarly, he is accused of stealing food items, clothes, jewelry and cash from the house.
